Gambling

As you all know, dice bags and flower poker is available for all with a price (dice bag for 250m and 100 seeds for 10m). I would like to suggest a change and hope to get your support.

 

Personally, I see hosting and flower poker as a privilege and I really think that It should be treated this way. It would be interesting to have dice bag in the donator store or just have a gambling scroll (which gives you the ability to host and play flower poker). This will mean that you’ll need a certain donator rank to be able to gamble. Normal players will still be allowed to be hosted but won’t have the privilege of hosting. This will make donation far more valuable than what it is now. At the moment, there’s no deal breaker to go from premium donator (15$) to super donator (50$). Of course we’ll have to remove the dice bags in the game currently or just make it spawnable with the exception that it could only be used by super donator+. We’ll need to reimburse everyone who currently has dice bags.

 

Also, I would like to have a new game added to the server (Hot or Cold). Currently, we have 55x2 and blackjack but I am sure there are people in the game like me who enjoys playing hot or cold. It’s also a great game for giveaways with goodie bags where you make everyone line up and choose between hot or cold.

 

This is all a suggestion and I don’t expect to have it followed to the letter but I believe that the idea is there and that, as a community, we can improve the current gambling system.

 

Pets

Alright so at the moment we do have pets and they are untradeable. I believe that making the pets tradeable would greatly improve RuneWild’s economy. In fact, we have pet box but I find them so useless since I can’t even trade the pets I get from them. If I am looking for a specific pet, and I open 10 pet boxes and end up not having the one I was looking for, then I just lost money since they’ll be sitting in the bank.

 

By making the pets tradeable, we’ll be increasing the demand for pet box. I also like the idea of having normal/custom/fused pets with abilities. For example, having a death pet with the ability of protecting +1 item in the wild. So if I am skulled and protect item is on. I’ll be protecting 2 items instead of just 1. Or corporal pet (which is ultra-rare/not obtainable at the moment I think) with the ability of giving +10% attack when summoned. I know that it will be hard to implement in the server but I really believe that RuneWild will benefit greatly from this.

 

I have some suggestions for this myself but I’ll wait to get feedbacks from the community before I start a new topic for pets only.

I don't really have an opinion on the gambling idea currently..

The pet idea I strongly disagree with - pets are supposed to be a long term goal in most cases, its an achievement to get a pet - theres no achievement in paying blood money for one, which comes to pet boxes, I don't think you should be able to get currently obtainable pets from the boxes, its a waste of money getting something you can already obtain a different way.. Idk what I said makes sense in my head but you get my drift.

I agree with everything except the pet abilities. Would be a bit too op. Would love for pets to be tradeable though. Or at least make fight caves have the jad wave and give a 1/100 drop rate on jad pet. That's my favorite. Lol, and I would love to see the gambling update be implemented.

Disagree with all of these suggestions other than the hot & cold idea.

majority of players either can’t afford to donate, or chose not to spend their money on RuneWild. So making a big thing such as gambling a donation perk makes no sense atall.

As for the pet suggestion, that is the suggestion I disagree with majorly, and probably would make a lot of people quit the game. This server is old school related and always has been, introducing custom rs3 rubbish should never be a thing.

However the game looks to be lacking suggestions so I wouldn’t mind seeing a few more suggestions from yourself

Hot n' cold is really old game, but fun. in my opinnion that's a really good idea, tough of that before, just never made a topic.
Why it's good and +1 from me? Because player's will have a higher chance of winning, it's actually a 50/50 game, so player and hoster has same odds, Black n' White could be a tie ( refund ).
And for the dices..
+1 too, only ussable for donator's, but normal ones too, no need to go that high with 50$ donator, I would suggest make from 15$.

Other than duel arena i dont agree with gambling at all, unless there was a complete scam proof system, spent 70 percent of my time as admin dealing with scams and scammers where i could of spent time elserwhere also feel theres more important stuff david could be doing

Thank you for your feedback! Of course when I say we should have HoC implemented I mean that it should be automatic (like BJ or 55x2). So this will make it scan proof

Thank you your feedback! I agree that not everyone can afford a rank in game but we also have to keep in mind that I didn’t say that normal players can’t gamble at all. They will still be able to stake at the duel arena or to be hosted. The only difference here is that they won’t be able to play flower poker or to host other players. They would be able to play bj or 55x2 with a host.
