  1. Make a Donator zone with benefits.

    1. We have an angler fishing spot at Barb village via Skilling Necklace 2. It might be good, but it'd just encourage people to constantly rush people. 3. Thieving may be coming into the game as one of the new 2 skills on release already. 4. What kind of slayer monsters are you thinking of? There aren't many monsters we don't already have. 5. We have edge bank :3 Still good suggestions though
  2. Vorkath Loot Chest

    Just a rough suggestion;-I don't believe people should be able to sit at the chest, waiting for the chest to open - without having to even hit Vorkath. Maybe they require a certain amount of damage in order to loot it once it's opened? Yes it requires 1m risk to open but it wont stop people from leeching kills haha. I admit, for some people they may find it difficult to do decent damage on Vorkath if there is a team holding down the area, but again its just a thought. Feel free to put thoughts below.

  4. Slayer Suggestion

    This suggestion is based on the assumption Slayer Monsters don't have the correct Slayer level requirement to attack like on the last release. I think every Slayer monster should have the correct level requirement to attack. After asking a numerous amount of people what their plan is on release, they either said a certain wilderness boss, or barrage in catacombs. The only problem with this is that the NPC's you can barrage in catacombs have very decent money/hr just by semi-afk barraging. As well as the fact people will be flaming each other at the start, I think people should be encouraged to work for their slayer levels in order to achieve the privilege to grind certain Slayer monsters in the catacombs for cash. Of course not everyone wants to train a skill, which is completely fine - there are a lot of other monsters and bosses they can kill without a slayer requirement. Of course this is just a rough suggestion, if you have any thoughts about it, feel free to comment them below.

    Brilliant, thanks @David. Bare in mind some people might be put off by idea of grinding for items just to be set back after 5 days, somewhat like playing the beta.

    Some nice ideas in here Silver: 1 - This could be implemented but I don't think it's very essential because the majority of players use gear presets, resulting in them not having to bank. 2 - I believe Claws aren't as accurate as AGS some of the time. Although, I have been specced an 83 with claws whilst wearing an Ely - so its definitely capable of hitting some high numbers when it does. 3 - There is a lot of content already in the wilderness, having Vorkath instead of Skotizo for example. There is also the Wyvern cave located in level 53 wilderness, along with all the other 07 bosses other than Crazy Archaeologist. 4 - There is an Imbue Scroll in the current Pkp shop, you'll just need to buy a ring from the armour shop and combine the two. 5 - Bgs and Zgs were already in the shop at one point, and they were then removed. I personally don't see anything wrong with adding Zgs/Bgs back into the Weapon shop, but that's based on me not knowing the reason why they were removed in the first place. I don't think Ags should be in there though, I class it as a item that requires effort in order to use, being one of the best spec weapons. 6 - We currently have Max Capes once you get 99 in all trainable skills (Agility, Herblore, Crafting, Slayer, Fishing, Cooking, Firemaking + Woodcutting).

    Exactly! People like me who love fashionscape would spend so much money on these items. Great way to implement a money sink, minimalizing the effect it has on the server.

    Firstly, this topic will cause a lot of heat so feel free to comment but respect each other's opinions. Donations - In the first week people including myself dislike the fact people can donate and own the eco within the first hour of the server going live. Some of us either don't have the money or think its avoiding the aspect of a server reset in the first place. It's not that we don't appreciate the donations, we'd just prefer the first week for everyone to have a chance to get items for themselves before people in max camp them and make it that much harder for them to progress. As well as this, it takes away the little achievement of being the first person to get a certain item from an NPC, if someone can just open boxes and get a collection of them. Taxes - Most server's have the Lottery in-game and it's a fun way of gambling your money. Although, there should be a tax percentage taken away from the total prize fund. Say a variety of people put in a sum of lets say, 500m. The total prize fund for the winning user, will only receive 400m of that total, resulting in a 20% tax. As well as this, I think the Trading Post should also require a tax cost when selling an item. For example, if you were to sell an Armadyl Godsword for 50m. Once someone purchased that item, you would only receive 47.5m, resulting in a 5% tax. Blacklisting - I believe regular players should have a few more than just 2 spots on their Blacklist. People who cant afford to donate or purchase their rank with in-game currency, shouldn't have to repeatedly clear their blacklist to make a spot for someone who rags them for 10 minutes. It's not the end of the world but it makes a difference, specially when there's a group of people doing it to the same person and no staff are available.

    I completely agree with this. People who play every day through beta should deserve a little benefit of being dedicated to the server, waiting for the release.

    Implementing coin shops for various things would be a great idea, it would make cosmetics/fashionscape worth collecting and buying. and I completely relate to your point about the trading post, just a few ideas I conjured up Appreciate the feedback though!

    I was thinking more along the lines of implementing the tax system to stall the eco crash rather than tax when it's already packed with money. I do agree with your trading post points, although some people may not want to spend time sat advertising a sale at home, they want to get back to their grind + and there is already a rule about spamming so it shouldn't effect other users a great deal if this rule is followed.
  14. Edgeville Pk Bots

    After the course of the few days I've been on this beta, I've managed to achieve a 200+ killstreak mostly from killing bots. If you lure them to 4 wilderness, once they run out of food on like 40hp they run. All you have to do is tent spec them and 95% of the time you'll manage to kill them before they reach the ditch. I understand I'm in max gear, all you'd need to do is pick food up off the ground and you'll outlast the bots in welfare gear. Also, due to bots not having combo food and relying purely on sharks its relatively easy to outhit them, whereas vs a regular player, it would be more difficult. Based on this I believe that the Edgeville Pk Bots should either be removed or improved so that people can't simply farm emblems/cash from them by waiting for them as a target and luring them away from the ditch. Either that or at least give them a teleport so when they're out they don't have to run 15+ steps before they die. Feel free to throw me some feedback and opinions on the bots.

    I think he's referring to a more eco side approach upon release. The servers have always been straight spawn. Yes, I get where you're coming from but from experience, eco servers where you can't spawn tend to have a very small pking community because people can't be bothered to grind for welf pking gear, just to lose it in 5 minutes.
