Newbie Guide
Welcome to a guide made for new players. In here we will discuss a few points and tips that I wish I knew before, as it would've helped me save up a lot of money and time.
General Tips and TricksUse ::commands in-game if you cant find a command
Purchasing Items
SpoilerOne thing that I've noticed is that there is a lot of discrepancy in prices when purchasing items in the trading post/stores. Make sure to check the price of the item in both the store and the trading post, before purchasing as it can save you a lot of money in the long term.
Don't take the text in between brackets 100% true, make sure to check trading post and choose the cheapest option.
Current Margins that I know of: (Usually Cheaper in Shops)
Name Store Price
Dragon Boots: 2.5M (Generally Cheaper in TP)
Berserker Ring: 2.5M (Generally Cheaper in TP)
Amulet of Fury: 8.5M (Usually Cheaper in TP)
Seers Ring: 2.5M (Usually Cheaper in Shops)
Archers Ring: 2.5M (Usually Cheaper in Shops)
Warrior Ring: 2.5M (Usually Cheaper in Shops)
Ring of Recoil: 25k (Usually Cheaper in Shops) Sometimes pkers sell them for lower in tp.
Ranger Boots: 4M (Usually Cheaper in Shops)
Barrows: ? (Usually Cheaper in Shops)
Ill add on more after doing more research on items.
Other important tip when purchasing items, is that sometimes it may be cheaper to buy PK points and then purchasing from shops, than buying from TP directly.
Item Price in TP-Price per Pk Point*Amount of Pk points needed to buy the item in shop-= Money saved( if positive)/loss(if negative).
