Hi RW community! We used to have Easter, Halloween and Christmas event boxes, which was a lot of fun and I know many players miss. The frequent rotation of new interesting items to get made the game very enjoyable and the current rotation of just Winter and Summer boxes every 6 months is not nearly as exciting. I understand the reasoning, RW was cycling through the available cosmetic pool faster than Runescape was releasing them, which meant we would quickly run out. However, I propose a different approach. My idea is to bring back an Easter (e.g. April>June), Summer (e.g. July>September), Halloween (e.g. October>Early December), and Christmas event (e.g. Late December>March). This would mean we get a more frequent rotation every 3 or so months to keep the server frequently feeling fresh. To circumvent the issue of introducing too many cosmetics each year, I suggest making it so only 3 or so items are released each event, rather than 5+ and a set like currently. I also suggest making tickets 2-3 times harder to get so the more limited number of event items aren't flooded into the economy and keep feeling rewarding to obtain. I also understand this would be more work for the team, so instead of having a full-scale event each rotation with a new boss, etc, I suggest two of the four events (e.g. Easter and Halloween) are simply a change to the boxes/tickets without the other features. Keen to hear everyone's thoughts. Thanks for reading.

Thanks, Jarry. I think so too and could keep the game feeling more consistently fresh and exciting.

Agreed, if the same amount of cosmetics are put into the boxes as before. However, as Poverty mentioned, I'm suggesting that there are less cosmetics are put into the boxes to compensate, and the tickets become harder to get so those fewer cosmetics don't flood the market. What are your thoughts on that?

Thanks, Poverty. I know a lot of us get very impatient waiting for the next event and hopefully this would solve that problem!

Hey Team, Would it be possible to increase the types of items that the servant pet picks up from kills in Edgeville? Currently, it only picks up seasonal tickets, pk points and coins. It would be great if in addition, it picked up commonly dropped items, for example, fury, dragon boots, berserker ring, dharock pieces, granite maul and caskets. Cheers, Togepi

Bumping because this request got quite a bit of traction but didn't go anywhere. Can anyone give a verdict on this one?
-
Just bumping this - given fashion scape is such a big part of the game it would be great to see this added.

Hey Team, Pretty minor request but could you add the mythical max cape into the game? All other max cape variations are present and so it would be cool if this last one was too. Cheers, Togepi

As Balls Deep said, you can self ban at the gambler. To be fair though, gambling is a huge part of the server and without money it's hard to make money using alternative methods. I would recommend if you get to an amount you're happy with to self ban then to avoid greed kicking in.

It's likely this would take a lot of developer time and given you can just avoid lending items to circumvent the issue, I don't think it's a worthwhile update.

Nice wins! -
That would involve adding an item to the game with a custom design that doesn't exist in real Old School Runescape. I don't think they'll do it even if it would look cool.

I appreciate the feedback, I didn’t know the servant could pick up items that aren’t your drop. Is this only once the item appears? If so, it’s fair game at that point I would think.
